I subscribe to the Read It First, which gives you excerpts of new books every week. A couple weeks ago the weekly selection was the latest Agatha Raisin book. I was amused by the excerpt, so I hit the Internet Book List to find the proper order for the Agatha Raisin books and started reading. This one's number three in the series. I'm about 25 pages in and I'm enjoying it.

I LOVE America's Next Top Model, mainly for the insane people on it. One of my favorites? Batshit crazy Janice Dickinson. I've read her previous books, just because I'm curious about the crazy. Again, I'm not too far into it- I finished a couple books last weekend- but the introduction was written by Jon Lovitz and he makes me laugh.

I've wanted black and grey striped tights for a while now, so when I saw in an online knitting community that someone had knit over the knee socks from this book I had to get it from the library. I'm a decent knitter, but I'm having issues with this pattern. I'm at the decrease point and it's supposed to be worked into the cable pattern, but I'm just not getting it. Maybe I'll pull it out and do this without the cable pattern. Hm.










I'm not sure if I'll finish this book. I started it, and it's about a woman in her mid-thirties who's married with two kids and she thinks she's boring, so she's asking herself if there's more to life than this and eventually that's going to lead her to away time and self exploration and you know what? I don't want to read about people having satisfaction issues with their marriages, so I might just stop reading this and return it to the library.







Things I like- YA fiction. Chick Lit. British novels. Any combination of the three. This is British YA chick lit. It's light, it's funny, and it also includes a reality show. I love reality shows. I really enjoyed this book. One question, though. What's up with the trend of naming guys Marcus?
